You have to spend $10 to join, but you save that much in one shop anyway. MASSIVE range, very lovely beads and findings. You can't bead this place really.
Very yummy Burritos and they can make it dairy free for me! I'm a bit annoyed that they charge $2 extra for guacamole even when I skip lots of other fillings like cheese and sour cream, but I guess it's still pretty great. And it's licensed. Try the Yellow Modellow beer or fresh lemonade.

Everything in the store is roughly double what you'd pay at Bunnings or more. The main guy who works there is rude, arrogant and abrasive even if you know what you're talking about. I only shop here if I have no other choice.
This is a clothing swap site for ladies and it rules! I got so much stuff for trading 2 dresses at $40 each. And they didn't fit me anyway so it was a great idea. I recommend it to all girls!

Really lovely store with sustainable and hand made products. You need to enter from the side, not the front (it's a bit hard to see the doorway)
Awesome bar with a very Melbourne feel. Friendly staff. Very nice "Old Fitzroy Burgers" for about $9 and it's huge and served with chips. Delicious!
Approximate cost: $9.00
Friendly staff who know everything in the world about bikes. They also make a mean latte and do bike repairs on site.
Eckersleys has everything you need as an artist. Yes it's a bit pricey, but they have a great range and they give students a 10% discount.
A cute little art space with interesting art that changes all the time. They hold art and design classes and have free exhibition openings every few weeks.

The best Japanese food in Sydney. I'm hesitant to tell people this, as I don't want everyone knowing about it! The meals are huge and cost on average $11. The Gyoza is to die for. Expect to wait 20-30 minutes for a table, but worth the wait.
Approximate cost: $11.00
