Probably the best cake shop in Melbourne. All their cakes are absolutely amazing! I can't fault them on anything! If you allow plenty of time the guys are happy to accommodate for special orders as well. The macaroons are not as good as the cakes though. Highly recommended.

All flavours are yummy with no exception. Price is a little steep for yoghurt, but I guess its worth it. Could easily pass for a light breakfast or lunch if you add extra fruits. Their jelly balls are absolutely amazing and burst with flavour when you pop them in your mouth. Recommended.

Great variety of macaroons. Some of them lack flavour, however the salted caramel is absolutely divine. Service is quite poor. The lady that served me was cold and eager to finish the "sale".

This little cafe opened just a few months ago. Prices have risen by over $2. The place is small, however very cosy and cute. Food is average...a bit on the bland side. Service is exceptional, very friendly and personal. Definitely worth a try.

Approximate cost: $10

Great variety of lollies and chocolates. Staff is friendly and attentive. Almost everything they sell is much cheaper than in the shops. Recommended.

Overall a great japanese place. Food is authentic japanese. Almost everything is priced reasonably. My absolute favourite is their eggplant with miso sauce. Unlike other japanese restaurants, here you have to pay for the miso soup. The only downfall is that the restaurant is quite small and gets extremely busy. Be sure to arrive early in order to secure yourself a spot.

Overall a great place to dine at. The dishes are a bit hit and miss. Opted for a few smaller dishes rather than having one large dinner. The truffle risotto was a bit bland for my taste. Dessert was great. Drinks were also really nice - lemonade was excellent. Overall satisfied.

When a friend of mine suggested colonic irrigation to treat my bloated tummy I was very apprehensive. I did my research and read some positive reviews of Colonic Irrigation Melbourne. When I went to the clinic I had a chat with Edna who owns the business. She gave me a run down of the whole procedure and was so helpful and friendly.

During my first irrigation, Edna made sure I felt comfortable and gave me privacy during the whole treatment.

Although I do not remember the prices, I believe there were relatively competitive.

I would highly recommend Colonic Irrigation Melbourne for their great service and professionalism!

This review is for Virgin Active Health Club, Melbourne VIC

Ok....so I joined and quit this particular gym a couple of times. I must say that Virgin Active has the best classes/equipment/facilities in Melbourne. The gym has a pool, sauna, power plate room (with 8 machines!), sleeping pod area, a variety of gym equipment and 4 rooms for group exercise. They have variety of classes which start from as early as 6 am and as late as 7. There are also mid day classes which are convenient for working professionals who have a long lunch break.

Trainers are nice and not as pushy as other gyms. They dont call you every day to discuss whether you would like to get some more personal training. Generally they are very professional and easy going.

Value for money: The gym is quite expensive compared to others, however it is well worth the money. There are no contracts and you can freeze your account when you are travelling. I believe a standard member pays around $115 per month all inclusive. Students get a good discount and pay around $85. There is a joining fee which is also quite hefty however I do not remember exactly how much it was.

The gym gets really packed in the morning, mid day and after hours, however theres plenty of equipment for everyone. I would recommend going late at night if possible.

Beware that sometimes their payment system does not work as good as one would hope. I got double charged and had to show my bank account because the back office lady did not believe me. It took them over a month to reverse the transaction and give me back my money. I got so annoyed that I quit. Also, they did not want to stop my membership because I could not go to the gym and personally talk to someone about the reasons why I wouldnt want to continue with my membership.

Generally all my friends are very happy with the service so it may be my own bad luck thats let me down.

Approximate cost: $115

Shoes smell like bubble gum. Overall good quality on a relatively high price. Customer service is pretty much non existent. I went to the store a few times i was not even acknowledged by the attendants. There is definitely room for improvement in that area.

Approximate cost: $160
