Although the service isn't spectacular and the decor is left to be desired this restaurant is a must! The food is fresh, delicious and cheap. Definitely try the steamed or fried dumplings - the best dumplings I've ever tasted! The eggplant dish with special sauce is also amazing. Don't go there if you want a fancy night out but if you want great food for great value (less than $20 to feed 2!) then try it out.

Great tasting mexican food with a wide range of choices on the menu including fajitas, nachos, enchiladas and tacos. Their margharitas are very yummy and I would highly recommend their soft beef tacos. On Tuesdays they have unlimited $3 tacos and $3 tequila shots - great value! Definitely make a booking as they are always very busy.

Amazing authentic Turkish food served by friendly and attentive staff. The restaurant just looks like a takeaway joint from the front but out the back there a few tables and the place is decorated with turkish rugs, prints and bright colours. Definitely recommend the mixed dips and turkish bread - it was made fresh just for us and was delicious! The lamb shish kebab was also great, and for less than $30 my boyfriend and I left completely stuffed! A great place to go before a show at The Enmore Theatre.

Fresh, delicious seafood sold at this fish market right near Tom Ugly's bridge. There is always a wide range of seafood on offer and it's priced very reasonably. There is always a queue, and even 2 shops (one on either side of the road) to cater to demand. Their homemade seafood sauce is amazing with some king prawns.

I have been here many times as their Yum Cha is the best I've come across. The food is always fresh and decently priced (most dishes are around the $4 mark). My boyfriend and I had a huge lunch for less than $40, including some fantastic imported Chinese beers. You must have the rice noodles, pork buns and chicken pie! A fun place to go to, it's always very busy so I'd recommend booking in advance.

The best burgers in Australia! Service is friendly and very fast, the food is made fresh while you wait and is great value (the burgers are huge). So much better than fast food burgers! Plus their milkshakes and homemade pineapple crush juice are amazing!

A lovely intimate venue that hosts a wide range of musical talent, both Australian and international. The food is middle-eastern inspired and I highly recommend the lamb kebabs and pita bread with hummous. I have been many times andsaw Josh Pyke perform there last year, which was one of the best shows I've ever been too. My favourite venue in The Shire.

Fantastic deli conveniently located in Caringbah Shopping Village, outside Woolworths. Fresh fruit and vegetables (much cheaper than the supermarkets) delicious salads, yogurts, dips, desserts and homemade lasagne can be a life-saver for last-minute dinners and parties. 10% discount coupon offered in the Smart Saver catalogue is good value.

A beautiful restaurant right on Elouera beach; the large glass windows give a spectacular view. Delicious food presented beautifully, I highly recommend the degustation menu for a special occasion. The service was friendly but unobtrusive - a great place to take your partner for a romantic evening.

Basic Italian food (pizza, pasta) along with dishes such as ribs and steak. Service was below average but the food was nice and good value if you go on one of their 'specials days'. All you can eat pizza on a Monday is great to go with friends.
