Walking into a clean funky pre-loved clothing store was a delightful thing to do on a Sunday afternoon. Fantastic range, staff leave you free to browse but are there for help if you need them. Love love loved it!

Penny Royal is a dog friendly, people friendly easy going local cafe. The location is off Sydney Rd so the pace is a little less hectic. Great food and even our Staffi is happy when we visit.

Great decor. It's an old post office and a huge space which is divided into areas. You can walk in the front and pay, or go down the laneway and through the red door into the public drinking area. It justs needs that instant welcome, you get when someone greets you as you come in
Approximate cost: $20
I now know why the Irish calls these places, plastic paddies...It's not a patch on "The Drunken Poet' (behind Vic Market)

Really classy giftware at unbelievably cheap prices. The owner will explain Chinese significance of object and if you give someone a present, they think you've spent a fortune
Approximate cost: $10
Service is 5 star, products are good quality and the owner Maria is always on site and approachable. You get the sense that they care about your pet more than their next sale.

This clinic has the best receptionists, (Dora and Diane) in the world. They give you an estimation of when you'll be seen so you don't have to hang around if you've got more than half an hour to wait. Doctors are up to date with the latest in medical advancement, in particular Dr Lee and his elder sister, Dr Swee Lee. These are dedicated doctors who work hard and put medicine before golf.
What can I say, 20/20 this guy's unbeatable...my dog loves him and does not stress out because he's at home and not in that sterile clinic where he always senses something unpleasant might happen

Brendan Witzand is a creative genius and can make almost any woman look sexy. (The ones he can't are those who think beauty is something you can buy when we all know it comes from within.) I've seen plain Janes come in and Audrey Hepburn's walk out.
Decor elegant yet cosy. If you wind up at Witzand's prepare to be pampered.
Only criticism is that is trading hours are a bit erratic but hey...it's Sydney Rd
Approximate cost: $100
Absolutely fab!!! Shop is like being in a girl's dressing room. Frantic, busy, excellent customer service and quite mad. Friendly. Only criticism is clothes are all too small for a 'real woman' (size 16) and buttons fall off. Bought one pair of shonky shoes too but I might have just been unlucky.
