The MB Hotel (bottom pub) is our local. Whenever family come down we always go there for a meal and drink and the staff are always friendly and chatty.

I only ever went into House if I needed something unique that I couldn't get from Target etc. But ever since Julie Goodwin from Masterchef has been advertising for them I have been in there a lot more often and see they have lots of good priced and good quality items.

Toyworld is not as good Toys R Us but they are the best toy store in Albany. Their store is a bit cluttered which can make it frustrating when you want to find something but I still manage to buy more than I went in for!!

Toys r us is a great store but there is not enough of them. I usually only go there when I need to buy a present but I usually come out with more than what I intended to buy.

Rivers is fantastic value for money. I work close so I go there about once a week. Sometimes the clothes are a bit messed up but they are cheap so I guess you can't complain.

My family and I have called Gus from Agua Plumbers a number of times and he has always been very prompt and friendly. He also charges a lot less than other local plumbers.

Snapfish is awesome. I recently took advantage of one of their photobook offers and only paid $6 for a fantastic looking photobook. I also get cheap photos printed.

I have used Wotif a lot but lately I find that the hotels offer a better deal if you call them directly. I think Wotif is a good fallback option but not necessarily the cheapest.

I use trip advisor before I book any accomodation or if I want to know what people think of a certain area before I decide to stay there. It is very informative.

We have insurance with Shannons and I cannot fault them. They always beat other quotes we might get and have never had a problem with them or their service.
