We took our 2yr old train fanatic here yesterday and not only did he love it - my husband and I had a ball as well.
Couldn't believe it was only $3 an adult to ride the trains (kids $1 I think)
There was so many people and the line was very long - but they have so many trains operating that you really don't have to wait long at all.
Trains themselves are done up so well, it really is impressive.
You go over bridges and through tunnels which kids just love.
There's also 2 impressive play grounds for the kids and there was even some ponies for pony rides.
Fantastic and cheap day out for the kids and big kids alike!

Was here for lunch on the weekend.
While the food was fine (parmigiana was humongous and that was the smaller one!) we did wait forever for our meals to come out.
We asked the waiter how much longer it would take and he was quite apologetic.
It wasn't busy at all - we were the only ones sitting inside.
Wouldn't go back purely because the food took way to long to come out & it wasn't exactly amazing.

Pizza is great from here, family size really is huge.
Great value for money.
Decor as mentioned is very outdated and my mother in law said it hasn't changed since the 70s.

Location is great. Right in front of the pier in st kilda.
Service was terrible. Had to call someone over to order. Half the drinks came very late. The other half arrived after some of us had finished our food, and 2 drinks didn't come at all.
Food took absolutely forever to come out. Staff were nowhere to be seen.
I would not recommend this place to anybody.
Food quite expensive, and while the lamb Slovaki was nice, myself and a friend were sick for 2 days after.

Recently visited the aquarium & was a little disappointed.
There were no staff around ( I had a q about exiting via a elevator) and the cafe was closed & we were expecting to get a late lunch there.
Much smaller than I had thought & prices were quite steep.

Lovely little cafe in the fitzroy gardens.
We stopped to have a drink here but ended up getting some cakes as well because they just looked so good! People near us eating lunch also looked fantastic.
Lovely surrounds with the fitzroy gardens and miniature village just out the front.
Very busy the day we went - and outside seating was quite limited.

My husband took me to the Atlantic last night for my birthday.
The service was outstanding, as expected and the girl was new!
We ordered th baby octopus and scallops starter which was Devine.
I had baby snapper and hubby had barramundi. Both fish tasted so fresh and the mashed potato we ordered as a side was the best mashed potato I've ever eaten.
Prices were a little expensive, but we already knew that they would be before we opened the menu.
I'd recommend this place to everybody.

This past weekend we decided to go through the drive through for lunch before a long drive.
They didn't have frozen coke,
The lamb burger had no sauce,
After driving away we had to return as we didn't receive 1 burger, had no straws for our drink and no sauce for the nuggets.
Completely annoying as we had driven off before realizing this.
