Recently stayed at City Centre Motel for 4 nights. The whole experience was ok, but that was it. The rooms were clean, but for the price somewhat low in quality. It was difficult to obtain a park as there are not enough parks for all rooms. We often had to park out on the road and lug our suitcases into the rooms. A plus is that it is very close to the city centre, although a big hill to walk up

They only have two branches Australia wide, with a state office in all states except NT. Due to the lack of branches I am able to use any ATM machine without paying ATM fee's (ME pick these up). I do all my banking over the internet, with no account or transaction fees. I have arranged two mortgages with ME, all done without leaving the comfort of my home. Whenever I need to ring with enquries or to arrange a new product the staff have answered my calls promptly. The staff have all been extremely helpful and friendly.

I transferred the balance of an existing credit card to Virgin on a 0% interest offer for six month. After the 6 month period I continued with Virgin. The ongoing rate is good. I found the customer service to be excellent. I was able to use the website to obtain forms and info. I have had about three occasions when I needed to phone and found the calls were answered promptly and in a very helpful and freindly manner

Dave's Bakehouse in Goolwa makes really good bakery products. The wholegrain bread is especially tasty. Located in the main street it is a great place to pick up lunch, a snack or to stock up the pantry. The staff are great, very friendly and helpful

Caltex Goolwa is a clean and tidy petrol station. I have found the staff to be extremely friendly and pleasant. The takeaway food is good and the pizzas are great! They also offer home delivery of takeaway

CalorieKing.com.au is a great website for recording your daily food & exercise calories. Just enter food eaten or exercise and the site will calcutlate the number of calories for you. Very easy to use interface, also has artilcles, tips, receipes and community forum

Goolwa Bakery sells great tasting food at a reasonable price. The quality is always consistent. The staff are very relaxed and friendly. Goolwa Bakery is a really nice place to buy lunch or a snack as takeaway or eat in.

Fit Goolwa is a great gym to use. The staff & trainers are very friendly, caring, knowledgeable & helpful. They have a good variety of equipment, all in good condition. Great range of group fitness classes. Fit Goolwa is used by a variety of age groups and fitness levels. I feel very comfortable visiting this gym.

We used RealEstate.com recently when purchasing a property. It was great to do a lot of research from home and saved a lot of time by viewing properties over the net to make up a shortlist of properties we wanted to visit. The search function was good, but could be better if able to refine the search more. It was frustrating that a lot of the properties listed where under contract or sold, we have since heard that this information is updated monthly.

I booked a 4 night stay over the internet, and was really impressed with the facility. Really nice, affordable accomodation with a comfortable & welcoming feel. Internet piccy's and description were very accurate. The host was friendly and helpful, room was nicely presented, excellent location, bbq room and pool
