like their frozen home made dumpling, a lot variety, good for stock some in the freezer. Service is good as well.
Really affordable dumplings and wontons at around $6-10 per plate depending on type. My favourite was the Xiao Long Bao ($9+), skin was nice and the broth was made to perfection. However, the other dishes did not stand out as much, but still enjoyed myself.
Interesting mix of chinese offerings. Dumplings, skewers, bbq, noodles etc. It was a mix of southern and northern dishes. Standouts were the pumpkin patties - fried till crisp on the outside, luscious pumpkin filling in the middle, and a small centre of red bean paste.
Place was ok for the dumplings but spicy chicken was better. Staff friendly enough and service was not too slow. Overall as expected from such a place but nothing special.
Chose here as North East is usually slow during lunch. The staff were friendly and were quick to get my dumplings ready (5-10 minutes). The dumplings were okay but not the best i've had. Had the chicken and prawn fried dumplings. They had a bit too much pepper in them for my taste buds. Good enough for a quick lunch when North East is too busy and not wanting to go further.
Approximate cost: $10
