I used to do home shop with woolworths a lot when my kids were younger/babies, it was great at first I found the first few orders were really time saving, though after a few months my free samples were not getting included as they always run out, or I could not get the time slot I wanted, there was something missing or when I called through to their customer service centre it was a hassle, long waiting times then twice I got overcharged by mistake.

I always requested long expiry date on my milk, yogurts and it wasn't happening. So I stopped home shop altogether.

Saved me heaps of time, but too many mistakes for me.

I used homeshop fortnightly for most of 2012, which worked out pretty well every now and then, but for nearly 5 straight shops, I would have to call about missing bags of shopping, unauthorised product substitutions and receiving off fruit and veg, for which I was all quickly reimbursed.
The problem is, we then needed another trip to get the missing items ourselves, even though we paid the fee for it to be delivered. I was sick of the fruit and veg destined for the dumpster being stuck in our order and now each product is now added by quantity, not weight.
I had one or two good shops which arrived well, but more problems than it's worth. I now shop elsewhere.

The service here is very good, with great prices and fresh produce all the time. Everything is easy to find and there are always great sales on.

Grocery Shopping has never been easier. No more lifting heavy bags of groceries and runaway trolleys. Great range, good prices and delivery drivers are very considerate, especially for the elderly. Can't praise them high enough. Will never shop normally again.

Being in a wheelchair, I find it hard (tedious) to go grocery shopping. This saves me a lot of time, money and effort. I also like the specials (multibuys are my favourite) My only problem has been with the softdrinks getting shaken up. All in all a lifesaver.... literally! Delivery even brings it inside for me! Great! Also a VERY cheap delivery for the island areas.

Woolworths Homeshop is only okay if you don't mind paying 10+% more for all items plus dont mind if the fruit and vegys are bruised and bumped and poor quality. You do not gain the benefit of advertised specials and they dont stock a reasonable range of brands. I was very disappointed because the delivery charges are high when you consider the significantly higher prices. After using the service a couple of times as I'm in a wheelchair and have no transport of my own I gave up. I found it was way cheaper to pay for a taxi to and from the Supermarket, than it was to buy on line. Anyone thinking any online supermarket would be the solution if they have a disability and find shopping difficult is going to be disappointed, regardless of which supermarket chain online service is being used. You pay more and get poorer quality.

This is very convenient. It allow you to price your groceries without going over the budget. The only downfall is that if they dont have an item you have ordered, they just credit your account with them. Which means you have to shop with them again and could be without something you really needed.

I used this service for 18months when i lived in sydney and didn't have a car. I liked to use it to order heavy items or bulky items that I couldn't carry myself. Only drawback when ordering fruit/ veg, you can't select it and would end up with the smallest bananas or worst looking apples etc.
