My partner took me here for our anniversary, and I loved it. The lovely old
building, along with the dim lighting makes for a very romantic evening. We shared tamarind pork, which was delicious, Pad Thai, a personal favourite and Salt and pepper squid, which which was amazing. Desert of Sticky black rice finished our meal off perfectly. This isn't the cheapest of Thai restaurants, but its well worth it. The staff made my evening one I will never forget. Situated right on the beach front, it has the perfect views, which just makes a great atmosphere for that romantic evening.

Approximate cost: $18.00

Amazing location - would be beautiful if you had a window or outside seat in summer as it's right by the beach.
In winter it is freezing, and not very busy.
The service was quite good and the waitress seemed quite nice and ready to help - possibly because there were so few customers.
The food was quite average (I tried salt/pepper squid, lemongrass chicken, basil beef and none were that flash), I will not be returning here as there are too many other excellent Thai restaurants down South that I would rather go to.

Approximate cost: $16.50

Agree with the other review - years ago it was a classy restaurant with wonderful food. The last time we went it was horrid. The food was very expensive and not really that nice. The service was shocking. The atmosphere was that of a poor beach cafe. We will never return.

Approximate cost: $50-60

I used to love going to this restaurant 10 years ago. Beautiful to sit out on the veranda and watch the sea. Now the service is terrible, food is ok but well overpriced. Disappointing

Very underutilised restaurant in this amazing area. The views over the jetty are priceless, and yet it feels like you have walked into someones house - the staff are just sitting around at the tables, eating or reading magazines. Very strange, and quite rude. The food was lovely, but I really wouldnt go back because of the appalling service. Such a shame, hopefully will lift their game.

Am so conflicted about this restaurant. The food is really delicious, beautiful sauces, seems to be good quality.... but the service is the worst. Have been twice - yes I know it makes no sense, but thought we'd give the benefit of the doubt that it was a REALLY off night, but unfortunately it wasn't. The owner, a woman, also does the service. She argued with a number of customers, kept people waiting for an hour for an entree and was generally rude to people. As enjoyable as I found the meal, my principles say we can never return.

I agree, the service is rubbish and they could do so much more!! Felt like an intruder almost in the restaurant - hope they change hands and make the most of this amazing location.

Very cosy and charming inside. Great food - much of it is home made and all really good quality. It turned out a little expensive once we had a meal each, spring roll entree and drinks - more than we expected. But we didn't leave feeling ripped off because the food was really good.

Approximate cost: $20
