Terrible service. Food OK. Everyone treats you like you are invisible, once you are finished it seems like they want you out the door as quickly as possible. Man at reception did not even look at us when taking our money too busy looking at his reservation book to see how much money is coming. My money money money! Won't be back many better restaurants around then this one. It's a shame as it's been there a long time!

My favourite menu item is the pipe with XO sauce with chinese doughnut- so delicious. The Chinese doughnut is for dipping in the XO sauce. The Roast duck is also pretty good.

We dropped in here for dinner whilst spending a night in the city. The number of patrons is usually an indication of a good Chinese restaurant. This was packed but they managed to find us a table for 2. The menu was extensive and varied, we chose a banquet to get a good cross section of their food. Having travelled to China and eaten in great out of the way restaurants there we were dissapointed. Most dishes lacked something. Service was ok but overall a dissappointing dining experience, glad I didn't choose the abalone at $60 per dish.

I attended this restaurant for weekday lunch to meet up with a friend who works in the city. We dined on yum cha delicacies which had a good variety of steamed, fried dumplings. The food was freshly cooked.

I can recommend this place to others to try out! :)

One of my preferred yum char restaurants in the city. Service is always quick, there can be sometimes a bit of a wait outside, but I think it is worthwhile. Service is quick and there is always food circulating, so you can get in eat and get out. Pricing is reasonable too.

I've been to Westlake about 3 times so far, they are always very busy for yum cha. They serve delicious food! The service was efficient.

We had a week day Yum Cha here. The food was quite tasty and the place was very busy. I thought it lacked a bit of variety but overall we were quite happy with it. Not the cheapest in the area.

Approximate cost: $17

Great Yum cha place. Scallop with cheese is a must to try ! Quite pricey though. Siu mai is ordinary. 5 people eating about 16 plates cost slightly more than $100.

Approximate cost: $25

Went here for Yum Cha during lunch time. Variety of Yum Cha is bit limited, but the Yum Cha was still quite tasty and good value. It gets very busy during Yum Cha because the other closer Yum Cha places (King Bo and Dragon Boat) are now closed. So you'll have to get there early!
