Attended the pet show at Melbourne showgrounds today. A shame the organisation chooses to do donation tactics that are manipulative, forcing people to give their details making it hard to say no and using guilt tactics to make subscription ongoing payment not considering people's situations.

They try to get you to their booth and trap you to talking to them. More pyramid scam than a charity perception. I'm more likely to give knowing I have the choice to walk away, go home and sign up than being forced this way. After saying no several times.

Really off putting when the adoption booth were far more friendly and more representative of what I expected of the organisation. It changed my mind on how I felt about being involved.

Please do better, train your staff. Promote what truly matters in ways your demographics care in helping.

I have been a client of Vision Australia for 23 years after losing my sight from unsuccessful brain surgery and they have provided sooo much service. My first visit was for a visual field test and was then taken to the showroom where I could purchase any aids (Braille typewriter, talking watch, Braille labeller, talking compass etc). I have taken part in their community support groups also. 100% fantastic service.

this organisation offers services and equipment for people who have low vision or are blind. they provide many services online and in person all over australia. they also supply a huge range of products to make life a little easier
