Cinema seats are dirty and they were hardly cleaned after the shows. Popcorn and food boxes were stashed in between seats and were overlooked by the cleaners. Prices for tickets are also ridiculously expensive.

Approximate cost: $16

A little biased here in that we witnessed Avatar 3D for the first time and movie is simply out of the world - literally! Movie aside, the greeting was excellent, the staff were truly friendly and appeared interested in what we had to say, prices were acceptable and the now somewhat 'old' menu is acceptable. Actually, some new offerings wouldn't go astray. I ended up leaving my credit card in the cinema (the seating was s usual, wonderful) and on my return was given it with a happy to smile to boot.

Approximate cost: $44

I just really love the movies, restaurants and stores they have down there. The atmosphere and environment are really nice and the staff are very friendly and professional. I really love the place and being around the sort of people that work there too.

I've been to all the Gold Class Village Cinemas and this was one of the worst. The food is good, equivalent to all the other Gold Class cinemas in that the food is above average but overpriced. The service here was the worst, the woman who greeted us was obnoxious, rude and condescending for no reason at all. The other people working there weren't any better, they told me they were just getting me change for the food and never came back until I went to get them. The cinema itself had the most seats I have seen in Gold Class (not a good thing if you want more privacy and peace), and with all the noise in there from other people, it was no different to the normal cinemas. The seats were much more comfortable than normal cinemas though.

There are some unique aspects to the Jam Factory Gold Class that other Gold Class cinemas don't tend to have. First, it has the most unique lounge area outside the cinemas and it is fairly luxurious. Secondly, this is just a minor thing, but the seats inside the cinemas are actually coloured gold like they are in Village's advertisements, whereas other Gold Class Cinemas have red seats. However, these unique aspects are not enough to make me want to return here. The horrible service and the cinemas with so many seats are enough to make you want to go to another Village Gold Class Cinema that does have good service and less seats.

Approximate cost: $35 Per Person (+ Food/Drinks)
