I love love love goldclass!!!
It really brings the cinema experience to the next level. I love how you can choose when food comes out, so decadent! Expensive, so a special treat.

Went to the new Gold Class cinema here at Fountain Gate. Previously my family and I have had to travel to Glen Waverley, Knox, or even further for the 'Gold Class' experience. Aside from the convenience of a closer location, Village has clearly outdone itself with this new theatre! Larger pre-movie lounge, slightly bigger cinema (additional 8 seats) and a more interesting menu made this the best experience to date. As a traditionalist cinema-goer, my husband went for the rocky road popcorn, drink and a mint choctop. I had a cosmopolitan cocktail to start with, chickpea felafel bites with tzatziki and hommus, along with a couple of glasses of sparkling. The movie, 'Catching Fire' part 2 of The Hunger Games was great. Chairs were comfy, cinema temperature just right and sound system was excellent. We will definitely be going back! Only negative was the timing of food/drink - it appeared that staff are still adjusting to this new environment.

Approximate cost: $80 + food/drink

Thanks for the review. Nice to know we have another option out here in the outer east.

I always use my $10 Telstra movie tickets to go to the movies. The popcorn and rinks are very pricey. No deals for families which is disappointing. I suspect that that is the same for most movie theatre's. On the upside they have booster seats for the kids to sit on which is a lifesaver, especially if an adult is sitting in front of them. Staff are also well mannered and friendly.

It's ok - tends to be a little dirty. I find village a bit pricey but that's revenue. Good loyalty card system though. Stewards and hosts are fantastic.

I find a movie theatres expensive especially when taking the family. However the last time we went was for an advanced screening weekend of despicable me 2. Tickets were only $10 each and they had heaps of activities for the kids to do extra. Highly recommend taking the kids to the next one. Cinemas are always clean and comfy. The mums and bugs sessions are great as well as the kids flix session.

Generally well priced & a very clean cinema. Host's & stewards are always willing to help where they can. Seats are comfy which is great for someone with back problems. Lolly stand lines are always huge but staff always strive to get through everyone as fast & efficiently as they can. There are extra cushions available for little ones & also a great movie/members club where you get deals every week!

This is My Number one Choice for Movie Viewing. Good Customer service, Prices are average (a lil' lower would help out familys but that's my personal oppinion) I choose to go here instead of somewhere a lil' cheaper Bc I really enjoy My whole Movie experience, from customer service to the actually set up of the cinemas, every time. I once had a Ticketing Issue which was sorted out for me fast, Making me again a Happy customer.

Very enjoyable going to this particular movie complex as the quality of the popcorn/hot food is good. One negative comment i would have on this business is the number of employees working as there always seems to be long lines for tickets and food.

Approximate cost: $36
