Entered a voting comp at the Royal Easter Show with a 'free' photo shoot as a prize. Was hounded by them to get us in (my daughter & I both entered), as stated by other outraged people, informed $95 cancellation fee for not attending the photo session & credit card details requested (but not given). The first session (had 2); I could have done a better job on my makeup, the second was better (only my daughter was photographed as she wants to get into modelling) - the photographer took us to outside locations & had a real good sense of fashion photography - this was worth it (as compared to somewhere like 'Pixie Photos', who charge about $700 for their sets, without makeup or location shots). The pressure selling was ridiculous - I wasn't even allowed to go out for a ciga - they even made me sign a statement to say I hadn't been pushed/intimidated (I'd say from their brushes with the law). The fashion mag style photos of my daughter were great & my daughter was also pressuring me, so I held out as long as I could & pushed for as much as I could & although I really couldn't afford the $3,500+, I submitted & used all my savings ($1500) to pay a chunk. I still feel used & abused, but do have something to show 4 it - although they demand that the photos can't be used in my daughters modelling portfolio & they say VAIG keeps the 'negatives' (there aren't any as it's digital!) & that's where I feel most ripped off. It's a year later & I am still paying - my financial position changed recently & though I had agreed to increase payments a few months ago as I want the debt cleared, I now have to reduce them & am being intimidated, pressured & being given the run-around . IF U DEAL WITH THIS PLACE - HAVE YOUR WITS ABOUT YOU & YOUR GAME FACE ON - PUSH THEM AS MUCH AS THEY PUSH YOU & although you may never come out on top, you may come out even or just a little behind.

my daughter and i had shots done. and they were fantastic. The price was too expensive but the life time memories these photos will give me are priceless!!!
the interest free payment plan is great, and the stuff are really friendly.

The make-up was bad and my hair was not done as what I wanted. The staff were very pushy when it came to buying the prints. They even said that "I had issues" when I did not buy any photos as I did not like any of the prints due to the bad hair and make-up. The only thing that was good was the photographer. Not worth the money.
