I went in needing some serious hair repair, and they delivered in spades. My cut and colour is brilliant - I've had lots of compliments.

Always love getting my haircut at Unico. Sofia is the only hairdresser that I let cut my curls.

Great service and you can feel the good morale of the team. I am almost embarrassed by how many people are telling me how GREAT this cut is for me and how BEAUTIFUL the colour looks. The head massage was amazing, I literally melted in the chair. I went here with a coupon but I'll keep going back for the great skill of the staff.

Went in for a cut and half head of foils in Fitzroy, my hair was cut much shorter than I said I wanted and they were extremely pushy about selling product.
The salon was so dirty, when they took me to my seat it still had the last customers hair all over it and the floors and walls were a mess.

Wont be going back, will try elsewhere.

Went to the Fitzroy salon on Brunswick Street, was 20mins late due to traffic and not finding a park but the girls were understanding and still fitted me in. I had a voucher for a cut & colour and both the colourist and hairdresser were great, asking me what I wanted, offering advice and making sure I was happy with the results. They also gave me advice on how to best look after my hair and offered refreshments while the colour was setting. Would be happy to make this my regular hairdresser especially since they are open on Sundays and have more than one salon.

I went to Unico Hair (Fitzroy) for a cut and blow wave in April 2009. I specifically described what I wanted and how I wanted my fringe to look. Consequently, I was not listened to and I walked out feeling like my hair was exactly the same as when I went in! While washing my hair, the hairdresser said that she would be using a treatment in my hair. I figured that because she didn't ASK me if I wanted the treatment, it was complementary because I was a new client. Not so. I was charged an additional $10 and forked out a total of $88 for a very average haircut. In addition to this, I was seated next to the front door so every time someone walked in or the phone rang, the hairdresser left me sitting there. I was really unimpressed. I was weighing up between Meika and Unico but chose Unico because they were slightly cheaper. Big mistake.

I went and got my Cut and Color done at brunswick st, fitzroy the service was great and my hair style has gotten alot of positive feedback. the price was great for what i got and i was extremely happy with how it turned out!
