We went to Tradies last night for a family meal.

I liked:
The service, it was good as always. They hire good people & train them well
The décor, it was great as they have recently renovated.
The kids club, my kids had fun and are looking forward to going back.

I didn't like:
My pork ribs. They tasted like they had been steamed and then simply burned for grill marks. Tasted like charcoal.
My wife's salad. No dressing provided or available.

We will go again but make different menu choices next time.

I recently went to the Tradies as it is newly renovated. The renovations are great, prices are reasonable and service is also good. This is a great place for a family dinner, especially with kids. Drink prices are also reasonable.

Had dinner at The Brasserie. The food was good and the bill was ok if you think about that the alcohol was cheap here...

The best thing about this place is you can have a nice meal in a nice atomosphere with a very friendly service even with small kids! Kids club is wonderful.

Recently went there to celebrate a birthday, fantastic is the only way to describe the experience.

The food was great and reasonably priced, I am in LOVE with the BBQ Ribs. The kids steak was good and $3 for 2 hours child minding was a big help.

Also good that there is plenty of parking and the drinks are at club prices, not restaurant prices. My kids are asking to go back again.

This place is great. They have just renovated again, and are still continuing to improve.
They have multiple bars areas, and gaming room, functions rooms, and the biggest TV i have seen to watch the footy on the weekends.
Cheap as chips to join and the joining fee covers your first beerr.. how good is that!!

You know how when places are run down and a bit old and daggy they have a great atmosphere and then they get made over and they loose all that and start to think that they are something special and the prices go up and all the shreds of what was good is lost forever. Thats the Tradies.
Honestly they lost me about 3 makeovers ago. I go back every few years in the hope that they may have gone back to what they were but sadly no.

I was fortunate to be given a voucher to dine at the Gymea Tradies club and as the Club has just recently been renovated I decided to use my voucher. The decor was good, the door staff were friendly and the menu looked great and good value. We arrived around 7.30pm on a Saturday night and there wasn't a spare table to be found, which is actually a good sign as obviously it was a popular place to visit and eat. We eventually found a table upstairs, made our selections from the menu and then we went to order, as I said it was quite a popular place so after standing in line for 30mins I was able to place my order and redeem my voucher. The staff were very apologetic for the wait which was nice, but the time did go quickly in line as we were all being serenaded by someone who decided to play the piano which was nearby. The food did take a little while to arrive, but it was still hot when it arrived and it was delicious. Overall a very pleasant experience if you don't mind waiting, but perhaps next time we will get there a little earlier.

Approximate cost: $20

I have been a member here for a couple of years. I often meet my friends there for a game of pool, a beer and a chat.

The club is spacious and clean and the prices are good. The food is reasonably priced and I always enjoy myself there.

I am currently in the process of organising a school reunion and had an appointment with the Functions Coordinator of this club. He was very professional, dressed immaculately and offered us a coffee prior to touring the club. He explained the packages in easy-to-understand language and answered all our questions. He patiently showed us every function room they had available and handed us his business card and a comprehensive package. At no time was he persistent in selling his venue package which made us feel very comfortable.
