Paola's sugaring technique progressively gets better and better the longer you do it. Paola is a brilliant beautician. She never does a rush job and takes pride in her work. After years of waxing and being unhappy with the results I finally found body sugaring and Paola! Although I had vaguely heard about body sugaring before, I didn't know the difference between this and waxing. The technique used in sugaring is similar to waxing but because a sugar-based gel like material is used, the results are very different to waxing. Hair is pulled out from the roots and with each successive treatment, it thins out in texture and less of it appears. With only 4 treatments so far, I can already see good results!

I've had waxing in the past and have found it painful and that I always ended up with ingrowns. Sugaring is so different, it's still uncomfortable but much less so and you don't get ingrowns. Also, there is actually a change in the thickness of hair, because unlike waxing it gets at the root instead of just breaking the hair part way down.
