I get mixed feedback about this place. In my experience and observation however, it offers a reasonably pleasant food experience (portions of ricotta pancakes, pizzas, & duck sliders are generous and ingredients of a decent quality) and service is fairly prompt if not always at your shoulder (this is a cafe after all). The thing which may detract from the experience (and hence the mixed feedback) is the consistency. I did see some plates of grilled chicken which exhibited more than necessary charring, and service can be more than a little bit absent sometimes - it took a good deal of effort for our table to flag down a waiter for our bill, paying for one's meal should definitely be less difficult.
My wife decided to have home delivered mealfor the both of us from this place. She has been there before for lunch only. She ordered bruschetta, chicken and mushroom risotto followed by Spanish donuts with chocolate sauce. The bruschetta was pretty standard except to say the tomatoes were fresh and tasty (like home grown). The risotto was pleasant to the taste but was lacking in the mushroom department and could have done with more. What can I say about the Spanish donuts, there were three each and they were large (almost bordering on huge), the chocolate sauce was standard chocolate sauce would have been much more tasty if the sauce was a bit more decadent in flavour. The meal overall was tasty to the pallet and was enjoyed. Will definately try other meals to get a full picture of quality
