Really enjoyed our visit here whilst supporting a friend in a band.
Very relaxing and just great atmosphere with that historical charm to it.
Staff were very welcoming and friendly, meals were great although a tad pricey but worth it for the fabulous afternoon we had with friends.

This is a great and unique old fashioned pub with a very tasty menu. Last night I had the pork with surf (prawns) and a garlic bread. The food was delivered fast and fresh. I also love all the unique beers on tap and the Bulmers Alcoholic Apple cider. On Sundays in the back garden, the live bands are so much fun. The food is a little pricey, but I don't mind as there are non of the anti social poker machines.

I have visited this place several times as I work close to this venue.

We order in advance to save waiting in our lunch hour. The food is excellent and the place has a great atmosphere.

Ample Parking and service and quality excellent.

WE have gone with our children on a sunday afternoon ,the food was good ,but a little expensive.They had live music which I thought was great..very entertaining.It caters well for outside relaxed drinks etc and inside it has tables and a pleasing decor for inside dining .The bar area is very atmospheric.

The atmosphere of the pub is great, (no pokies as well). It is definitely a great watering hole and a great local. They also sell the beer in pints. The food was okay but not spectacular and the serving size was smaller.
