I'd probably only give 3 1/2 stars, but that isn't an option.
Window seats were available and remained available during our booking - yet we were unable to take advantage. Zucchini flowers were quite nice but desperately needed seasoning. The garfish main was fabulous. My husband's pork main was also very good. The brownie dessert was just ok. I wouldn't recommend the Negroni. They also used single use plastic straws which I really don't like. Service was fine.

Service was prompt and courteous. Having said that I do not expect the server to be wearing a food infested apron.

Whilst my Goat tagine was excellent my wife's Fish of the Day was undercooked and raw in the middle

Would have expected more at $30-$40/meal

Approximate cost: $80

The food in this 'cafe' (which was more like a restaurant) was so exceptional that my boyfriend went home, determined to re-create one of the recipes - a beautiful greens dish with sweet basil.
I am not giving 5 stars because I found the beef cheek I ordered a little confronting. It came from the kitchen swimming in some sort of beetroot jus, I think, and although it was delicious to taste, visually it was a huge slab of meat swimming in dark, purplish liquid. Gordon Ramsay would have had something to say about the visceral, gross presentation. But as soon as I tasted it, I was won over. It was melt-in your mouth delicious, as was everything on the menu, and they were happy to swap one of the creamy desserts on our three-course menu for something less so (as I am Lactose intolerant).

It was a great dinner, and we will be back, but I do hope the next dishes we order are less halloween-looking!

With the Entertainment Book in hand, we ventured into this fabulous restaurant.
The service was apparent until I looked a little lost. At this point one of the waiters asked if there was anything they could help me with. Of course I noted that I had a booking for myself and my partner and was then shown my table.
The appetiser came out quickly, but the mains took a while. Their wine list had a few good drops and some rather interesting overseas varieties. Again on the food, the steak was brilliant but the seafood platter was a little lacking and not worth the top price that it was listed as.

All in all it was above average, but without the Entertainment Book I probably wouldn't dine here again.

Approximate cost: $exp
