Can't go past this place for a cheap dinner. $4 pizzas after 7pm that are delicious, a good sized and most of all so cheap you can order as many as you like to try the flavors! The calamari pizza is my favourite, comes with capers that make it yummy. I've always wanted to try the chocolate one for dessert but have never had any room left! Note however that the cheap dinner means drinks are quite expensive, upwards of $8 for a cider.

I really enjoy this place. I went there for drinks and also you can order pizza on the sides. For me the pizza was average.there was nothing extraordinary about the pizza. the staff are great and really enjoyed the drinks. Service is great and probably needs to tidy up the table. Overall, not too bad.

This has to be one of my favourite pizza places in Melbourne. $4 gourmet pizza...you can't go wrong. My standard order is the agnello (Lamb) pizza with roquette, pinenut and lamb.

I think they make their money of drinks though as a pint of beer cost $8. Ouch! I usually just get water....I'm such a tight arse...lol.

the sister option to Bimbos on brunswick street in Fitzroy, Lucky Coq is located on chapel street prahran. cool dark couch-y bar area with outdoor street dining. $4 pizzas on most days aside from friday and saturday from memory. a cool cheap place to grab a drink and pizza with friends or family during the week or after work from 4pm. really amazing and inventive pizza topping ideas and gluten free/vegan options available. highly recommended even outside of their cheap special times.

Approximate cost: $4-10

The sister restaurant to Bimbo Deluxe, this one is located to trendy Prahran.
Same deal applies, with $4 pizzas available during dedicated days & times (most of the time).
Despite the low price tag, the kitchen serves up great pizzas.
About 8-9inches in diameter, with a perfectly thin base, no scrimping on the toppings either.
Toppings are fresh, as the rocket atop our pizza testified - sitting green & pert not at all yellowy or shrivelled.
This place has an energetic, young, slightly bohemian vibe to it.
Just be mindful when ordering drinks though. This is where they make up the profit margin (ie. our pint of Magners pear cider was $14 for the bottle)

This place was a regular haunt during my uni days (right next door!). $4 pizzas and hotdogs from 12-4pm and after 7pm, and a nice relaxed vibe. The bianca al pomodoro is great for cheese lovers and there is always nice chilled out house and disco music being played. The only let down is the drinks - expensive (I assume to compensate for the cheap food) and they don't do pints - only pots or schooners - for tap beer and cider.

Go here to feed your pizza cravings! Every night after 7pm all pizzas and hotdogs are $4 each and they are top quality! My fav is the gorgonzola so cheesy with prosciutto. Great vibe - comfy sofa seats and tables. Outside area upstairs. Also a winner for a pre drink before going out on chapel. They do infused vodka try lychee with lemonade and lime! Make sure you arrive at no later than 6:30 during the week and 6 on Friday and sat to ensure your pick of a table (you can't book). Pool table downstairs and dj upstairs from 8. Staff could be friendlier, they always look pretty fed up! But it's worth putting up with for the great food! Definitely a young trendy vibe so wouldn't bother if you don't like loud music..

Approximate cost: $4 after 7pm

I hadn't been here in such a long time and I don't know why! The best and cheapest pizzas on the strip for sure. Great atmosphere and lots of places to sit and lounge around, can get incredibly busy but it's worth the wait.

Lucky Coq is famous for it's $4 pizzas and they meet all expectations generally - they do what other places should, churn out loads of pizzas topped with fresh and yummy ingredients for next to nothing. My calamari one was divine. Downstairs was super busy as upstairs was closed for an unknown reason which made finding somewhere to sit a bit of a lucky dip but after we found a place we really loved the pizza and the infused vodka. Yummy!

Approximate cost: $4
