Olivia at The Little Flower Shop recently created my wedding bouquet and flower crown. After many months of correspondence with her, and emailing her photos of examples of bouquet and flower crown arrangements, colour palettes and detailed request for specific colours, I was confident that I would receive a beautiful bouquet & flower crown for my special day. On the morning of my wedding the flowers were delivered, and my heart sank. The bouquet was completely the wrong shape and colours, with no trace of the purple tones that I'd specifically asked to be included. The 'flower crown' was not a full circle of mixed colours to match the bouquet at all, but instead a ribbon with a very small selection of only white flowers. It was as though I'd received the wrong order. As this was just hours before my wedding ceremony, I immediately phoned the florist & was told by the assistant that [Redacted] was away for the weekend. The assistant understood my panic, and said she'd try to contact [Redacted]. She eventually phoned me back, but her initial response was very defensive, blaming me for not being specific enough about what I wanted. She also boasted about how much time it had taken her to complete, and that she should have charged me double the price for the work. This was very upsetting to me at an already stressful time. I have printed evidence of my email correspondence with her, showing how much information I had sent her in the months prior about what I was wanting from her work. I explained that I was not using the flowers as they were, and she begrudgingly told me to get the flowers back to her shop & her assistant would try to amend them as possible. In the end the assistant did a good job, although I was still not happy with the colours, but at that stage it was too late to make alternative arrangements. I feel very disappointed with the service, and don't know how I could have been more specific with [Redacted] about what I was wanting. She seemed to ignore everything I sent her & then blamed me when I wasn't happy with what she created. It definitely affected my wedding day in a very negative way, and I would not hesitate with telling people looking for a wedding florist this. Although [Redacted] has tried to contact me since, the whole incident left a very sour taste in my mouth, and to try to make amends now is ultimately not going to change what happened on the day.

Beautiful flowers, in pots, single, or bouquets. Service excellent, very helpful, as I needed flowers for a grave visit, cut flowers to size ... highly recommended
