This is a really great place , I liked the pools & tennis courts & everything was really clean when I stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment here .

This is the second time we have stayed at the lakes cairns resort and spa as we loved it so much the first time. Staff are very friendly. Grounds are kept very well. Beds are 2 singles joined togethere but still very comfy. We were allowed to check in early so that was a bonus.

I was very happy with the resort. We stayed her for 10 nights on our holiday this month in a 2 bedroom apartment. Room was very spacious, air conditioners in both bedrooms and the lounge. 3 different pool areas with 4 pools. The gym and lagoon were closed though which was a bit dissapointing. The restaurant is open to the public. I would highly recommend.

I have stayed here twice. the first time the service was excellent, i had never stayed anywhere as good before. The next time we stayed was a few years later and the resort had been changed. No longer was the restaurant that we had loved open to the public, it was now for events only. We were really disappointed with that. Also we were disappointed that the man who used to great you at the door of the restaurant was no longer there. He made our last time there enjoyable and was very kind. We went to the other restaurant in the resort and it was very expensive. The food was good but it wasnt affordable to eat there all the time.

Fantastic spot, the staff are pleased to help at all times - if its with booking or advising you on daily tours of the area, or if there is a small problem they are a great help! Having a 24hr shop open on the premises that sells the incidentals and alcohol is a great advantage - very convenient.
