Am relatively new to the area and am so happy that we have a local cafe that is so awesome. Absolutely beautiful food, amazing coffee and really great and friendly staff.

Mate took me here about 2 months back had breakfast here they cooked my bacon to perfection l had turkish bread and uncooked tomatoes spot on coffee was realky nice and price was good would go back again

A really quaint and cosy cafe. The menu features a range of breakfast and lunch savoury and sweet offerings to suit everyone. Service is friendly and attentive, and the food definitely above average in generosity and plating.

The General is our favourite breakfast place, we make it a rule to go once a month (hubby gets paid monthly) because it ain't super cheap but the food is fresh, mindful, seasonal, and has more than just one generic option for vegetarians. I honestly can't stop singing their praises! Coffee- FANtastic. Food- Even better. Just wish they had the beetroot relish ready to sell more often ;-)

My husband and I decided to visit for breakfast after reading the positive reviews and it was great! It is a small place that only seats about 14 adults comfortably so get in early if you can to avoid waiting. We enjoyed our eggs on sourdough toast with a delicious hot choc and coffee. It's also a small menu but everything looks delicious and tasty and it is served until 3pm.
Very popular with takeaway coffee and baked goods. The service was fast and the staff are delightful.

Amazing little cafe! The General has delicious coffee and really great breakfasts! The eggs on organic sourdough are so good! In addition to this the service is fantastic too.
I highly recommend this place!
