Swang past this awesome little english pub after work, pints were around $8-9 which is pretty sweet. They have pretty cool decor and the staff are pretty friggin friendly.

This is one of our favourites in the Northbridge... for me the Sausage and Mash is to die for - Hubby likes the Fish & Chips...the prices are really good..just over the $20 mark. On the nice barmy nights its great to sit outside ..but you will be asked to leave after about 9.30 as the pub starts to get really busy and the outside balcony is used for pub goers, this isnt a problem for us as we usually head off somewhere different for coffee.

Approximate cost: $21

Standard "ye olde English" pub with little to commend it above any other pub that is in the same genre. No complaints about the food - its good, but isnt excellent - and there's a good range of beers on tap. Many levels which increases your odds of getting a space at the bar but also increases your odds of falling down the stairs after a few too many!

Not a bad little pub. It's a beautiful old building with a traditional feel inside. They have a good range of English and Irish stout on tap. It's also got a great social atmosphere most days of the week, and a large seating area at the front for the nicotine addicts.

Approximate cost: $1-100

Nothing special about this place, just a regular pub serving pub foods. Had the fish and chip, the fish was just average-nothing special. The chips were pretty good, crisp and not too greasy.

Its a great pub, especially on weekends there is a lively atmosphere of everyone having a good time.

I cannot comment on the meals as I have only been there for drinks with friends, but seeing the menu, they look very appealing.

Definitely next time i go to E&W, I will have a nice pub meal

Bar staff are friendly.

Went to the Sunday carvery. Very good quality food - traditional English roast, great atmosphere, especially on a winters Sunday. Very good value, especially if you are a senior.

Approximate cost: $20

Like it's counterparts, the E&W provides an iconic and homely British experience. It has a warm vibe and is great for a pint!

Approximate cost: $19

Popular pub alternative in this part of the city. Real pub atmosphere with great range of English beer. A few large tables outside make this a good spot for post-work drinks in the summer. The food is disgusting though.

Approximate cost: $20
