I wouldn’t recommend this place for food! Drinks, yes, food no! My meal was supposed to have fish mashed peas and chips. It came down with no mashed peas, just chips and fish. The fish was ok, the chips were the cheap stringy type, the meal was uninspiring!
You have to pay through a app, they charge a service fee( god knows why, your already paying for a meal) it wasn’t turned on, and they want personal details like name, address, phone No, I personally do not like that, just wanted to pay for my meal, that should be simple, it was not!
Some of the staff were great, some were rude and curt, it’s a service industry, look after your customers!

called in and was grateful that i did,they had a meal on special for $10,had a great big steak with some sides ....was a nice day with plenty of friendly smiley faces.

The Cricketers Arms Hotel is a great friendly relaxed pub when you want a chilled out evening. The $10 steak is good. The live bands are good too.

A very relaxed little pub in the heart of Balmain. My boyfriend and I dropped in for a beer and found the staff to be very friendly and relaxed. A cute little touch I liked was having cricketer's bat emblems on the beer dispensers.

Always a true friend, one of the originals that never bothered to jump on the sydney slick-stickers bandwagon. Just pure chilled atmosphere with genuine tunes & staff...the beverages are served quickly & with a smile.

Great atmosphere - no nasty interior design overkill, the pub is pretty relaxed and funky and maintains it's original character. Good place for a few beers and some nibblies.
