Wasn't particularly impressed with my coffee and the service wasn't great either. The staff certainly didn't have their hands full as there were only a few people to look after. An average place for a coffee. Will not be returning,.

I've been to 'The City Plaza Espresso Cafe' on two occasions, one for a catch up with a mate and the second with my husband (as I had been impressed the first time...)

The Cafe is located in the City Plaza as the names suggests and when you enter it looks like any other cafe, and is welcoming, with some lounges to the side that you can sit and enjoy a cup of coffee/tea etc and have a good chat.

The menu selection offered is quite extensive, however I feel that the prices for some of the menu items are a little high for what you get; there are some fair prices for other meals though... The menu offers from sandwiches/rolls/wraps for those that just want a simple lunch, to hot potatoes, burgers, salads, hotdogs and a yiros... The sandwich prices look to me to be about standard (even though I think they're a bit ridiculous as a rule).

On my first attendance I had a special which was a bacon and cheese hot potato, and my mate had their prawn and advocado salad which she swore by (and looked nice). My potato was probably not a bad price ($9.90), however I am aware of cheaper prices for better quality elsewhere (although not a sit in cafe). The potato was good though!! Tasted nice and had good amounts of topping for the potato...

On my second visit (taking my husband as I had enjoyed the first attendance), it unfortunately fell short! I got what was advertised as a yiros, however had no flavouring and ultimately was some diced chicken. The semi redeeming factor were the chips. My husband got a hotdog 'with the lot', however could not get mustard (a typical hotdog sauce) as they only had it in a dressing. The hotdog was cooked well, however the rest of the very limited "lot" (bacon, cheese and onion) were barely cooked and barely there... This trip cost us $30, and we felt like it was defintely not worth it!

At this stage I may try it again, but will steer clear of both of the above options, and might go back to the potato, or give the schnitzel a go...
