New owners and the food is really good. I’m next door at the motel and I’ve tried the flake, chips and pizzas, garlic, pepperoni and the lot. These guys have got it together, the food is excellent, come try it for yourself.

The first great thing about this shop is that they were open after 8.00 pm which is when most other fish shops around me shut. But we were staying in Ballarat area and came here for our tea on Friday night.

Large, clean shop. Very nice staff and efficient and completed our order perfectly. Chips were very large serve for just over their min of $3. Flake was large and the batter thinnish but very light and tasty. The grilled flake was just succulent and also thicker than most. We were given lots of potato cakes too, more than we ordered. Meal for 4 people with 6 flake, chips, potato cakes, dim sim and corn jack was a whisker over $40.

So, good place to go for a great feed at a pretty good price.
