Thai Riffic has had some good groupons which give first time diners a great chance to come sample the tasty food, great service and a good dining experience.
Located on the main road of newtown. Parking is an issue depending on the time you go. Good sizes, reasonable prices and one of the better Newtown Thai places to visit.

I went there because I got a voucher from groupon, since I was using voucher there is nothing to complain about the value, however, the food quality is quite disappointing and dinning environment is not what I looking for

Approximate cost: $12

Thai Riffic is one of the fancier Thai Restaurants in Newtown in my opinion, with generous portion sizes, delicious Authentic Thai food and they have some great cocktails too!

We love coming with the family for a great Thai feast, we always opt for salt and pepper squid served with crunchy noodles and chilli sauce ( i get them to bring me chilli sauce, as not a fan of sweet chilli sauce), green curry chicken, pad thai salad with beef and chicken pad thai and some satay chicken skewers to share with the kids.

The ambience and beautiful lighting , superb food, friendly staff, quick turnover and the cocoon egg chair my kids fight over when coming here make for an enjoyable evening!

This is the first Thai restaurant I visited when I landed in Sydney and i was abit nervous to try anything new but this place was just wow! The flavours and freshness was so enjoyable and I demolished my plate before my boyfriend had even started. The cocktails are also quite yummy too !! But very strong . I would recommend this place to everyone

Bought voucher for pad Thai and drink here, very good value. I ordered the chicken pad Thai takeaway over the phone, the staff is very friendly. When I got there, it is already ready for pick up. The portion is huge, I actually had it for two meal. I wouldn't say it is the best pad Thai, but the restaurant is nicely arranged, it could be a good place to go with friends and have some chat and nice service.

Had my sister's 21st there so there were a lot of us. I really like how they take your order on the electronic things and it sends it straight to the kitchen ensuring your food comes out quickly. By the time they had finished taking all of our orders, the first orders had started to arrive. Prompt and fresh and reasonably priced!

Approximate cost: $8-$30

Yummy Thai food here, I have throughly enjoyed every dish I have ordered from here. It is really nice set-up inside with a wonderful ambience. Worth fighting for a casrspace in Newtown for. Pricing is slightly above the average compared to other Thai places in Sydney.

I've been here before! It's not one of my fave places but they have great food!

went with friend as had spreets voucher at this place on monday nite, first time eating in newtown. Loved King street and location of restaurant. Ambience is superb compared especially to 5 or 6 other thai restaurants within 50 meters of place. Seating was spacious and cosy and had thai feel. Food was great and they actually had traditional Thai beer and my favourite Singha beer. Definately recommend though do maybe expect them to get your scotch order incorrect even though they pretend like they understood you when you described exactly how you would like your drink as they got our drink order completely wrong but food was great.

Very nice food like all of this chain, the resturaunt itself is very well decorated and stylish, probably one of the best laid out in Newtown, also one of the biggest.
They are BYO wine but not beer, which we found out last time we were there, bit annoying as we didn't like any of the beers they sell.
A little on the expensive side and seeing as there are so many Thai places in Newtown this seems a bit odd
