I think bigpond is to expensive, you would think for a large company they could be a little better with the pricing, you do get a very small discount for having home phone and mobile as well but woopee really. I only use it couse its the only one we can recieve broadband from where we live.

Talk about crap. I am sorry but for such a big company i hate them. They are rude and uncaring regarding any queries and half the time do not even speak clear English. I cannot understand how they get away with it.

forced to use BP as only ISP available in area (monopoly rules..) have had no end of trouble from poor service, billing mistakes -they have taken payments out of my credit card for so-called 'free trials' not once but twice, for Games and Security - was forced to withold bill payment to get satisfactory outcome from them! Very limited choice of plans and very expensive, would love to change now my 24 mth contract is up but dont know who to go to???

I've had Bigpond for about two weeks and it's been great so far! Pretty fast considering we live in country Victoria. Got a great deal with 1/2 price for the first 9 months for 12g usage- $59.95 a month. and we got a free modem. Couldn't live without it!

I have had Bigpond Cable connected now for over five years and havent looked back once. Great value for money and the speed is excellent. Plus good customer service whenever I have had a problem

Telstra Bigpond Cable internet is extremely fast and has worked well for us as new clients. Staff over the phone were particularly helpful and called me back as I had requested so i could have time to decide on a package. Installation was quick and carefree.

Internet service - ISDN. But the service is being discontinued at the end of the year. Bummer.
They tell us that they will provide a comparable service, but they don't publicise that it will be at double the cost of what we have now!

I have had no end of trouble with Telstra Bigpond. Ranging from really poor service to incorrect bills. Service staff only want to palm you off to some one else. Finding someone that wants to help is a real chore. As soon as my contract is up I will certainly be finding a new internet provider

Have been with Bigpond since 1999, both with dial-up and broadband; while Help line is great, and service has few drop-outs, the plan prices are ridiculous. Will be changing shortly

I have been a bigpond member for a few years now and have always had pretty good service. Whenever I have had to call up for help the staff on the other end have been very friendly and helpful
