We have been going to Tasty Rooster for at least 8 years. The owners, a husband and wife team have been there from the start and are always very friendly and accommodating. They even pick out the cucumbers from my picky husband's greek salad and they know our order by heart, even if we haven't come in for a couple months. Their chicken is always moist and their chips and chicken salt are perfection. I've never had better chips in my life. It's like a salty carbohydrate drug addiction. lol Their chickens are well seasoned with crispy skin and bean and greek salads are usually fresh and delicious. We can easily feed our family of 3 for around $25, which is a hard task in Australia!

this is by far one of the best chicken shops in geelong,the amount of food they give you is very generous i had a chicken roll with gravy and there was so much chicken on it i couldnt get through it all

this place has the most amazing chips and gravy i always stop in there if i'm in the area...the staff are always very friendly and you always get very generous serves,would highly recommend this shop

To start off, you will not find better chips than here. All the food is delicious and staff here are very friendly. Great for something quick to eat

If you love fresh chicken rolls - this is your place. Laonica chicken, cooked to perfection, with gravy and coleslaw in a fresh roll - plus chips and gravy, for around $8........ much more filling than McDonalds. They also have salads and pastas and other types of burgers. Highly recommended. Not open Mondays though which is a pain.
