I had never been here before and it was clearly a popular place. You definitely need to book. The food was delicious, probably the best Indian i have had. The staff were all friendly and attentive. It was a little crowded though and it was only when it thinned out a little that we could completely relax and enjoy the meal.

we have first time visit this restaurant before i think 4 month and i have found this is the best Indian restaurant in restaurant for pleasent dinner but its cost little bite more which is unusual with Indian restarant.

also has an interesting set up where you can see some of the food prep from the dining room downstairs

I have been meaing to eat at this Restaurant for ages and finally did last night. although Take Away, I ate the Lamb Madras and was great. Not oily and the lamb was cooked to perfection. I will be definitely be booking a tabl to experience eating in. Recommend this restaurant to any Indian Food lover.

Two Words to remember when you go to Tandoori Den:
"Burra Kebab"

The absolutely best lamb I've EVER tasted.
Bit too expensive for a local take-away, I'm normally forking out $50 for the two of us to eat well, but that's probably because the foods so good.

I agree that this place is fantastic whether it be dine-in or take-away. The food is always first class as is the excellent service. It's spotlessly clean and well presented - can't say much more than this place ROCKS - and yes - it gets my vote too for the best Indian Restaurant in Melbourne!!

What an excellent meal! Good attentive staff in smart uniforms, excellent food and excellent value. The tandoor is in a glass room visible from the restaurant, so you can watch the impeccable chefs go about their business - nothing to hide here! It's licenced, but we brought our bottle of wine.

Excellent food. They are always busy, so service is not lighting fast, but still quite acceptable. Both take away and dine in are excellent.
