I went here because this is one of the kosher bakeries and I wanted a gift for a Jewish friend. Everything is quite well organized and all the food is labelled so you can see exactly what you are getting. The decor is fabulous, seating is comfortable and newspapers are provided.

I'm not sure if the staff are fully informed about what being kosher means though, apart from pointing out the certificate on the wall - I didn't find them particularly helpful. Kind of expensive for what it is, but I guess that's what happens when you are in a niche market.

(I've seen people complaining that you aren't allowed to bring food of your own in here, but this is clearly written on the sign on the door and is to do with their kosher certification. I don't think it is reasonable to complain about not being able to bring in a ham sandwich! There are plenty of other cafes in the same block if that's your thing.)

Overall, nice place to sit, but for just good kosher baked goods I prefer Glick's which is just up the road.
