The seared salmon was great - cooked in front of you then fresh from the train. I also recommend the fried pork chop (good value at $3.50) The place also offers a selection of non traditional Japanese food (including some dimsum). The downside is sometimes you don't know how long the food has been sitting on the train (my tempura vegetable was cold). Overall I would recommend the place and plan to go back on a $2/plate day!

This place used to be the best sushi in Brisbane. It's going a bit down now - but still very good. The range is awesome - something for everyone. Including people who aren't that into sushi. I almost don't want to mention that there are two nights a month when all the plates are just $2 each. They're very busy nights to go - but probably the best as the food is freshest. Be prepared to wait outside for a bit tho.

The sushi here is amazing & very reasonable prices The owner is very rude with absolutely no people skills whatsoever she is very suspicious as shes obviously had people run away but expect to be treated with absolute distrust. If you can ignore that, this is my favourite sushi train in Brisbane

We have been to a few sushi train style places and some of them have NOT been good, Sushi Train at Toowong is exceptional. The food is always fresh, the service very fast and the place very popular. They do takeaway and the prices are very reasonable without losing out on quality. Love it.

Approximate cost: $10
