have been here for a couple of times, and it's absolutely lovely! especially when the weather's nice! awesome cafe as well, GREAT tourist spot!
lots of strawberry varieties, from ice creams to jams to knick knacks, the kids love browsing around!
I have lost count of how often I have been here. The last time I went was during the week, which was so much better, as the place gets totally inundated with tourists on weekends (naturally).
I am a massive fan of their strawberry wine (non alcoholic), it is my favourite beverage.
Last time I was here, I ordered a Chocolate fondue for two which came with approx 12 large and beautiful strawberrys and a medium pot of the best damn Belgium chocolate liquid you will ever find. So good!
Great jams, preserves and various local produce sold there. Warning, if you come on a weekend, or during school holidays, it will be extremely busy and wait times will be extreme...that is if you can get a table.
Very expensive and very busy so you always have to wait a long time to be served. I've been there four times now at various times of the year and I have never once gone when they're picking fields are open. They have the most amazing strawberry meringues that I get every time I'm there. I also love their little pots of jam! When I've gone to the cafe bit they have been awesome with accommodating friends allergies. Its a bit complicated getting there if you don't know the area but a lovely area of the world to get lost in.
i agree, it's sort of tucked and hidden away really, like a world of it's own!
Their coffees ,devonshire teas ,ice cream desserts and Strawberry delights are wonderful.
the retail shop is full of lots of gift products[food etc], plus they have STRAWBERRIES in a wide range for sale .
Also they have a range of boutique wines to sample & purchase .
I picked my own luscious big flavourful strawberries here and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience of this farm. The desserts in the small restaurant are simply scrumptious and the shop sells a variety of strawberry and other berry produced. Children love strawberry picking so plan a visit for when that can happen.
great time very good service, clean enviroment and loats of parking. Nice on a sunny day outisde, Great free samples too
I really enjoyed my visit to the Strawberry Farm. But it was a shame that on the day it was too wet to pick strawberries. Regardless, the shop there was fantastic! They sell strawberry everything, from strawberry cider and wine to strawberry jam. They also do free samples! :)
Excellent fruit. Not just strawberries, but other berries as well. Premium grade berries. You do pay a premium for them, but the berries and onsite desserts are well worth enjoying in the middle of the surrounding strawberry fields on holiday.
close to mornington beach....very popular place...you can have anything with strawberry. Try strawberry with chocolate ...
Picked up some lovely juicy strawberries here, as well as some delicious ice creams. The queue for checkout was enormous but seemed to be moving fast. Getting a seat at the cafe tables was near impossible so might be worth getting there when it opens.
