1. Food was ok except I found some disintegrated bits of plastic in my meal. Made me sick.
2. Tried to contact them multiple times to rectify the problem above, including via an email on their provided brochure. Someone responded to 1 email that it was not their business (ie the owner printed the wrong email on their advertising brochure going to someone elses address...or else it was correct, and they pretended they wern't the restuarant). Still have not heard anything back from the other messages sent directly to them, or other email of their website owner.
3. To top it off, expensive, the soft drinks alone cost more than I have seen anywhere else.
You would think a business that sells food with foreign objects in it/makes their customers sick would want to rectify the matter promptly, and list the correct email address on their advertising, not someone else's. However they have made no effort to respond to a big health risk to their customers.
Congratulations, you get the award for worst customer experience so far.

One strange but very tatsy dish is the Marmite Pork Belly, almost like a sweet and sour pork but better. A good range of dishes on the menu, not so much that it would be too overwhelming. Great service, they are happy to give suggestions and explain what the dishes are if you are uncertain (like marmite pork belly). Very spacious restaurant and very clean.

I blundered into this restaurant today and boy, was I impressed! It looked upmarket at first which worried me but I checked the price of the kueh teow and it was $9.80 so I figured it was affordable.

I ordered the said kueh teow and I received a huge mountain of it on a stylish square plate. It looked perfect, stir-fried flat rice noodles with chinese sausage and plenty of beansprouts, spicy too. It tasted authentic and was not too greasy, which I really appreciated; I've had too many disappointing experiences with stodgy greasy kueh teow.

One of the staff came over and asked if the food was okay, which I thought was really nice.

I noticed that it was quite late for lunch when I was there but there were a fair number of customers in the restaurant, mostly Asian clientele which is always a good sign. It was not too busy and the ambience was very nice and welcoming.

I can't wait to go back! I can't remember when I had such a nice kueh teow. (Just hoping the other dishes are as good).

Approximate cost: $10-$16

Really friendly and prompt staff. complimentary drink/green tea. clean and well presented environment. tasty lunch for $7.80. they have a range of lunches at this price, I had malaysian chicken satay with rice, and my friend had the pad thai with prawns. not huge, but not small, and for this price, fantastic. would definitely recommend. they have a great range of food, including fish banquet. average price of non lunch special seems to be around $12. Seems popular, there always seems to be people in there. you know when a place just seems to deserve to do well... thats this place.

I am not a Malaysian, so I am not sure if the food they are serving are sticking to traditional recipe as they claim. What I can only comment is that their food taste good. The truth just speak for itself. Since it's opening in February 2012 the restaurant had been slowly gaining support by locals. People who work around the area filled the restaurant every week days - not only Asians but people of all ethics.

There a variety of food, as Malaysian food can get spicy sometimes so it's worth checking before you order (because from my experience I would need some help to interpret their menu as it was too concise and the names were mostly in Malay). One big thumb down though was they recently change the fish in Nasi Lemak (Malaysian hawker rice) from a whole deep fried fish into fish fillets. Not sure about the reason maybe is due to cost or availability, however having a whole deep fried fish in a Nasi Lemak were certainly a WOW factor, instead of the two sad pieces of fillet o fish that was still in the plate when I left. Anyhow apart from me being grumpy about the fish the dish was still yummy and well presented. Speaking of well presented I would really recommend the $12.80 Fish Banquet they have. For some reason the waiters always forget to give this menu to customers (often you have to ask for it, it's on another piece of small promotion card). This stunning dish come with a whole snapper, with the fresh removed and cooked in a sauce (there are four style to choose from, and I have not tried all of them but the mayo I tried was great), the bone was then deep fried and is accompanied with rice. For this price you have a piece of art-like creation I have no reason to say no to revisit again. Their Hainanese chicken rice are okay, but not so much to amuse for.

A small note: they make good chili sauce to die for, if you are into a bit of spicy, simply order a fried rice and accompany with the chili oil provided on the table, oh boy life's good. They also make some special Malaysian drinks and desserts, the desserts you can order them piece by piece, my girlfriend said it was good and not too sweet but I have not try it myself, maybe I will make additional comment to that later.

The service are always helpful and cheerful, sometimes forgetful though as they often bring only parts of their menus. However I have never experienced miss orders or if I have to wait for too long for my food.
Revisiting recommended
