I arranged to have a technician attend to change a fridge thermostat yesterday. They didn't turn up. When I rang this morning to find out why I was informed there was a message left on my mobile to advice me the technician couldn't make it. This message was left on a message bank that said the messages were not checked. You had my email but no one emailed me, and you didn't try and sms me. The call was made 4hrs prior to the appointment but no one thought to ring me again. When I pointed out that my message stated the messages weren't checked you said it didn't matter, that a message had been left. You offered an appointment for this morning which was great. Unfortunately I work full time and had already arranged time off yesterday. Fortunately I have 5 kids, the eldest of whom is home today. Not good enough, she's shock horror 16yrs old. Apparently you will only turn up if there is someone over 18yrs old. I asked why, and apparently it's in the T & C, yes but why. I was told the appointment will be cancelled because I'm just being difficult. I have looked on the website, there is no mention of an age restriction. There are lots of households out there with people under 18yrs old in charge. I think this could be classed as discrimination. Can't comment about the technical service, but customer service sucks big time.
