The hotel itself is probably a nice place to stay - I had the disappointment of taking my wife to the 'High Tea'.
The 'High Tea' was in the cafeteria type area where you couldn't escape the blinding sunlight. You were either squinting into the sun or having your neck blistered.
Selection of only four types of tea (all tea bag).
The 'High Tea' food was disappointing also - dry scones with very liquidy homemade strawberry jam. The sandwiches tasted stale - they were not freshly made. They had been made much earlier & left uncovered resulting in dry, stale tasting bread.
Other cake & tart type tidbits were very sweet & very ordinary.
Staff service was very slow - they were more interested in adjucting the tables & chairs around everyone. Noise made was similar to a Cantonese Yum Cha restaurant.
Must be much better places around.
We won't be back & cannot recommend the 'High Tea'.

We stayed here recently, we enjoyed our stay, the customer service is ok, they forgot little things but this was discussed with the manager and he was really great and resolved any issues, great food and just relaxing atmosphere. would go again

When I stayed there, the staff were helpful. Probably because I was a frequent patron at the time. I found the rooms were clean and very easy to get to. Not only did I get to stay in some of the studio rooms, but I was privileged to stay in one of the apartments rooms on the 3rd floor.

Though I did host a dinner there for a group of us and we did receive great service and the food was fantastic!

The room was filthy. I wouldn't get in the spa. The service was appalling. No customer service skills at all. It took us 40 minutes to find our room with the instructions we were given. Our room service order was incorrect. Nothing went right. The whole experience was terrible.

Very luxury hotel with fantastic lobby in a North suburban, price is just normal in market rate and the price for dining is also same as in normal steak house. 5 stars environment and excellent customer service. Recommended.
