Very disappointed with the service when I went to order. Considering it was very quiet for a Saturday night dinner. We were a family of 3 that ordered steak, chips and salad, salt/pepper squid and chicken schnitzel, chips and salad. [redacted due to personal idenfitier] who took order had a problem with my requests and that I had to go back and ask hubby what sides he wanted. Then we were waiting longer than expected for our meals. when we went to collect our meals I was left waiting another 5 minutes for my meal. The chips were disgustingly greasy and overcooked as if cooked in old oil. The Salt/pepper squid was like something I can get from a supermarket freezer. My daughter was feeling sick from the greasy food (schnitzel and chips) I definitely will not be going again which is really unfortunate as we came here a few years back and it was much nicer, especially the steaks).

everytime i have been i have always found it friendly and well organised..i went on my birthday last time and the foood was yummy..the trays were always refilled very quickly they lots of staff on hand..even though it was quite busy there was plenty of food and the evening was pleasant..i always like to try as much as i can even though to get a variety i just wish i could fit more in soo i could just keep eating and eating..the chinese food is one of my faves and also the roast dinners and of course dessert..i love how theres lots to choose fromsoo i always find something for the kids to enjoy

Hmmm well have been here a few times last time I was there for a party there were 3 children in high chairs we were asked if we could not let the children make a mess... There was honestly 3 chips on the floor and a spring roll...
She was like oh children..

This is a family restaurant and I found them to be quite rude coming up to me while people were there pretty much be little me... When I called up and complained they shrugged me off and no apology...

Other than not being family friendly..

I have eaten at this bistro on a number of occasions and had them cater a function. The portions were fine but the quality of the food was very poor. The value would be perfect if the quality was satisfactory. The attitude of the bistro manager is extremely poor.

Awful food, pre-cooked and reheated. No apparent customer service. Shame because the rest of the club and their staff are pretty OK. Try the Chinese restaurant in the club instead!
