A couple of days ago, I attended this St.George branch after getting utterly disrespected and overhearing comments about looks of my father between staff at the ANZ branch. I got booked an appointment to see a young gentleman named Yash Sonar who to my surprise was the best specialist I have met in any bank. I wanted to simply open an everyday account for my parents who are on a visitors visa. He not only genuinely cared to create the account for my father but went above and beyond to discuss about savings strategies. He also advised me on how shares investing can be volatile and the best spots to visit in Darling Harbour with my father. It was like this banker actually cared about me and spoke to me like I am apart of his family. He did not ever push any offers in my face like ANZ does. The meeting was only around 20 minutes but it was so professional and friendly to just be in his office, it felt like I wasn’t in some corporate hell like the ANZ branch. His office was nicely decorated, tidy and considerate of young ones. He was so knowledgeable in regards to the financial industry for his age and when I asked where he worked at previously, then it hit me! It really made me proud to see the professional and mature side of this young generation strive because it is super rare to see nowadays. The ambience I got from this branch and the lovely staff who just give you a friendly smile when you exit makes this one of the best branches of St.George and definitely the best banks in Australia. I will definitely be looking to change my business over to these guys. Would highly recommend. Once again, thank you for giving my father and I your utmost respect, sympathy and valuable time Yash.

I went to this bank to make a teller transaction . I ended up waiting half an hour to be served. I think this is the longest I have ever waited in a bank.
