We'd thought we'd be smart and stay at the hotel nearest the Mittagong RSL so we could have a good meal with drinks and a happy night out. It turned out that the 'cheaper' rooms are located just behind the bar and smokers' area of the RSL which gets rowdy at night. Even thought the location is convenient, we found the late night party and car door slamming near to midnight to be a bit much to handle. Coupled with early risers the next day who seemed to have not stayed at a hotel before, we thought this place a little too noisy and lacking value for money.
