Having just joined a craft group, I needed some more tapestry wool but was unsure if I could match the older colours. No problem, as their range of wools and stranded cottons is very good. I also found a pack of 36 stranded cottons in mixed colours for only $5.00! Great for embroidery.
It was difficult to find any staff free to assist but it wasn't a problem this time.

I always shop at spotlight and come across many service staff - some good and some have quite frankly been grumpy. I recently had a purchasing experience when I needed some advice on material type and quantity and was dreading having to ask. The woman who served me is the best I have had at spotlight. She was helpful and friendly, gave good advice and was genuinely a happy person. She is a middle aged lady and I thank her for brightening my day

My experience at spotlight was amazing, with very helpful staff who bent over backwards to help me find what I was looking for. It is such a large store, how anyone can remember where anything is is amazing

I am very surprised by the amount of materials, fabrics, lace etc that they sell. This is a big shop and basically have anything that you require from invitations, to flowers to materials. A little disappointed with the service, (I found they were unable to help me with a couple of queries re material) but overall happy with the shop.

The shop has the best range of all kinds of homewares and other bits of pieces from manchester to scrapbooking supplies. The prices are also quite reasonable and they have some good bargains.

We found the staff to be very knowledgeable of the products they were selling. They were very helpful with our selection of colour scheme's. They didn't mind spending the time to help. Well done and thankyou.

Being a knitterholic I always enjoy my trips to Spotlight in particular the shop art Melrose Park (Edwardstown). The woman in the craft dept are very friendly and always aim to help.

Huge shop with a lot of stuff in it generally a bit disorganised.

Good variety of goods but it can be hard to find what you want.

Staff can be variable from excellent to useless.

I have been to this spotlight on a few occasions and have felt that unfortunately all staff are not as helpful as they should be. The prices I think are average and I expected better. On one occasion I asked 3 people if they could assist me who all advised me that they could not help. Disappointing.
