Very disappointed after purchasing a packet of Speedy Berry Frozen Fresh Fruit to find after getting home and opening the package that it was only made up of frozen bananas and nothing else. The picture covering the front of the packaging showed a whole range of mixed fruit from various berries to mangoes and passion fruit and in behind them some bananas. The wording on the front in large lettering said 'Frozen Fresh Fruit'. Very deceptive packaging. I took it back to the shop I bought it from and they refunded me the money with the manager of the shop agreeing that he also expected it to contain mixed fruit as shown on the packaging. He said he would report the misleading packaging. The other complaint I have is that the packaging does not say where the product is from. I believe it is mandatory in Australia for packaged food products to state where the food originates from.
Very disapppointed when buying a packet of frozen mixed fruits (or so I thought looking at the picture on the packaging) to find it was a 1kg packet of frozen rhubarb. YUK - don't even like it. The only indication on the packaging that it was rhubarb was one word on the back of the pack.
Approximate cost: $8.00
I love their frozen blueberries which I use mainly in smoothies. They are larger than most I've bought before & so are the cranberries. They also sell frozen raspberries & mixed berries. They're excellent value & you can get them from Costco.
Approximate cost: $7
yes, they are good value for the quality
