Went to Frankston to have my regrowth done. Been 3 times and always leave a tip as usually satisfied. This is the third time and the same hairdresser. I was horrified to end up with pink hair at the regrowth. The hairdresser tried to tell me its not pink, well I know the difference between blonde roots and pink. Went home feeling very miserable Not at all a pleasant experience and I left no tip. Didn’t even ask if I would like a discount for a very bad mistake she had made. She said see you next time. Really ! I don’t think so.

I walked into the store today and was not greeted by either of the two hairdressers so I sat down and waited. The blonde staff member after 5 minutes asked me what I was in here for and I asked for some blonde foils. The hair dresser started laughing to herself and did not respond. So I said “should I just go!!?” I was annoyed at the rude laughter from the hair dresser. Then she said “no darl but it’s going to be a long wait you might want to try the other store unless you don’t mind waiting” then I saw their eftpos wasn’t working either so I left. RUDE staffing there don’t even bother. Never going there again

Don’t bother with the Smart Cut places for a haircut. Absolutely useless. They will never take someone after 3:30ish as they don’t want to work past their closing time and are too cheap to employ more staff.

Went to Mornington to get my hair coloured, both salons very busy, one under staffed, waited for some time then left & went back when not busy, waited for about an hour, after having hair coloured & rinsed I was so over it, as I'd sat for another hour before it was rinsed out, I left, was going to get a trim & blow dry as well but couldn't sit there any longer & to top it off their eftpos wasn't working, as usual, they were using it in the morning. We all know the owners are just trying to get some cash ! Very Inconvenient. I've been going here for quite a few years & fortunately have never had such a prolonged experience before, will be rethinking my options next time !!!

HORRIBLE. Yes I tried going here as I wanted something cheaper couldn't afford expensive, worst mistake in my life service is horrible I asked for ombre and that they put brown foils in my hair they had no clue what ombre is. I ended up leaving and crying cause I hated my hair I'm natural blonde love my blonde hair and they ruended it, so I went back so upset and complained so they said they will fix it when they get back from the bank I had to wait half a hour for them to get back then they were combing bleach at bottom of my hair gave me messy chopped layer patchy spots everywhere. Worst part is I can't do anything to fix my hair it won't grow back nice and I no longer have my blonde beautiful hair.

I was nervous coming here but I really wanted to go somewhere cheaper than my usual hairdresser as I'm trying to save money. I'm surprised by all the negative reviews because the lady, Leah, who coloured, cut, and blow waved my hair did EXACTLY what I asked. I have actually never been happier with the way my hair turned out. I usually walk out of a hairdresser paying $100 PLUS disappointed because it didn't turn out how I wanted it. But Leah did a great job. I walked out happy for once. So thank you, Smart Cuts & Color. One happy customer :)

I went here today for a full head of foils and trim, love the fact it's a walk in salon, all staff were very friendly, and prices very reasonable .. Kirsty done an outstanding job, I couldn't be happier with the service, she done exactly what I asked for, lovely lady. Will recommend this salon.. Thank you Kirsty.

Made me wait around for an hour, and serving others that came in after me, before telling me they did not have time to do my hair! Never going back!!!

Worst hair experience I've ever had. My natural hair is a dark brown, but I had a dyed blonde ombr in the ends. I went in wanting to go a light brown. Apparently that means a blonde. I came out with tiger stripes and streaky hair that's WAY too blonde for my liking. AND NOT EVEN CLOSE to what I asked for. When cutting I asked for short at the front. Long at the back and keep the length My hair just passes my chest and now, it's at my collar bones, uneven and literally like steps. A chuck short and the front. Again uneven. No attempt to blend, merge or even. No graduating length like any good hairdresser. When drying my hair at the end I asked them to stop simply so I could leave as I was so appalled by the service and result. I didn't want to stay any longer. The dye was left in FAR too long which I knew straight away I was asked to pay straight after they rinsed me and said, oh ill just give it to you at $115 :) instead of $140. DO NOT GO HERE FOR A COLOUR OR CUT

I went to Smart Cuts & Color in Mornington about a month ago. I have strawberry blonde hair as my natural colour with a brown dyed over the top. I went into make an appointment & get a price. I showed my regrowth & asked how much it would be to go back to my natural colour, I was told $50 so i booked it in although the first thing they said was "Are you actually going to turn up?" i was rather shocked as I had never been there before & was obviously making an apt for a reason, i shrugged the comment off. I returned the following day being a Friday at 11am. The service given was very poor & unprofessional. I had to sit there for 30mins before the hairdresser even asked what I wanted done. They then proceeds to rinse the one next to me so by the time I had even been started I had been waiting in the salon for 45mins. Finally, I had dye in my hair but the hairdresser never explained to me that it was to strip the old colour out until they had already put it in my hair, they didn't leave it long at all & rinsed my hair, then towel dried it. As I sat at the mirror, they decided with another hairdresser about which colour to put in my hair, I saw the colour charts they were looking at and it was no where near the colour of my regrowth or the picture i had shown them, so I spoke up and said "not to orange". They proceeds to pick a colour & started dying, the dye was left in my hair longer than an hour which was due to the rinsing, cutting, styling other customers hair, other customers that had walked in AFTER me, I thought this would have been a nice opportunity to offer me a coffee or water but no, i was not offered any kind of beverage. My hair finally had been rinsed and as soon as it had been towel dried, it's looking extremely patchy, it looked terrible! The hairdresser then roughly brushes my wet hair... Brushed it, not combed it. As my hair is very brittle, brushing it while it's wet will just break & snap my hair, and what happened, ALOT of my hair had snapped, as a result of that I now have extremely uneven hair. The worst part about my whole experience is; once it was obvious I was very unhappy with the colour, they then offered for me to come back on Sunday at 2pm for them to fix it (free of charge of course) so I went back on the Sunday. Then I was asked if I can just wash it at home. I cannot believe they had the nerve to ask me to wash it out at home after they were fixing their mistake. I was shocked as they still have charged me any price for how unprofessional, rude the whole experience was.... I was told there was no time limit really and that i could wash it out whenever i please. I did rinse it out of my hair after I got home, I washed & dried my hair I realised my hair was dark reddish brown, so in the end, it was not the colour I asked for. The service was just very disappointing. It was the worst experience I have ever had at a hairdressers and I have had a fair share of bad hairdressers but this was the worst! AVOID THIS FRANCHISE.
