Usual Chinese restaurant we often walked past and finally decided to try it out. Had the fishball noodle soup and it tasted amazing, reasonably priced.

On a prior visit shophouse was a bit lacklustre. Serving bland, boring and very slow fastfood. It was borderline acceptable.
Now, I am glad to say things have turned for the better.
Service has sharpened somewhat, and the quality of the ingredients and cooking of the meals have improved.
Taiwanese Style Popcorn Chicken had a good batter to chicken ratio and was not over seasoned.
The Pork Belly Gua Bao held a generous piece of pork belly which was not too fatty and well marinated, along with a generous sprinkling of crushed peanuts & coriander.
The HK Style Beef Brisket in Noodle Soup was served in a deep bowl and yielded plenty of tender beef brisket, turnip, greens and noodles. The clear yet rich broth, as well as the tender brisket, were a good indication of long slow cooking.
All in all, a markedly improved experience being delivered at Shophouse.

this place has very good and efficient service. the food was really really very good as well. we ordered their dry la mian noodle with soya sauce and honey BBQ pork and crispy roast pork belly. and we finished off our meal with their tofu pudding with sugar syrup. i really enjoyed this meal. and i highly recommend it!
