No they injured both of my dogs, cuts all over paws and body, burnt face with clippers traumatised both dogs and one couldn't walk for 10 days

Highly recommended, girls are professional and friendly. I first went there around 2004 after another poodle owner recommended them to me
My dogs love going and they look beautiful when we go home.

the staff are friendly, and my poodle loves to go there and doesn't want to leave, I think that says it all for the staff and for me I am just happy to not have to try to do this myself.

Approximate cost: $70

I have used Sheridans several times for my dog peppi. He always comes back looking stunning. I think the prices are fair ( especially for the amount of time spent on the dog) There was a mix up over collars one day, but Sheridans were falling all over themselves to make it right. ( and they did) They are definitely doggie people and i recommend them. I used to go to a place more local, but I travel a half hour to Sheridans now because i believe i get a better job. Just wish they did cats too!!!

Approximate cost: $45-65

If only dogs could talk... My name is Sheridan, owner of Sheridans Dog Grooming. I am very upset with the reviews iv read that "Google" has published. I have worked very hard for 20 years to get my successful business where it is today. Consumers in general will always have something bad to say. If it is a retail shop, fast food outlet, hairdressers etc, There will always be someone who has had a bad experience. But there is always two sides to a story. And this does not mean defending truth from lies, or wrong from right. Its about explaining why these experiences have happened and the reasons behind why there is another side. In relation to the review of the lady picking up her stressed dog. All dogs behave like this. When dogs see their owners they explode with excitement. Anxiety levels rage. This is not a dog saying “get me out of here”. They are just so happy to see their owners. We even talk to the dogs and say “is your owner here” because one minute they are quiet and the next they are up and screeching with excitement. Dogs can literally hear their owners car engines. They know their owners are there before they walk in. And owners will come in and say “Oh my god is that my dog? Oh im so sorry”. They think they have been carrying on like that the whole time. But they haven't. About dogs having accidents... Again if dogs could talk they would let us know when they needed to go toilet .Its even worse when you have to clip a dog who is screaming like you are murdering it. Just imagine what People walking past outside are saying “Oh my God they are abusing that dog”. But hold on if we didn't clip the dog properly then we would cop the review on google that says “Worst job ever”! It was unfortunate that this owner came when the dog had just gone to the toilet. And im very sorry to this owner because we did clean it up but unfortunately it musnt of been completely cleaned up. When this happens its so hard that when the dog knows its owner is there and then you have to put the dog back into the bath to wash its bum the dog does get stressed. And as much as we apologise its understandable owners will get upset to see their dog like this. We would never call an owner a liar but we will not lie either. We would never mistreat a dog let alone send a dog home unclean. Its unfortunate circumstances like this one that will destroy my name and i find it unfair. I just hope this owner may see it from our side and understand that my work is the welfare of dogs. Its why after 20 years i am very well known and respected and have loyal customers. Its upsetting that you had to exploit this on the web when it could of simply of been resolved by understanding our job has its down falls. If dogs could talk your dog would of told you she was not mistreated that she just had had an accident and wanted you so bad that it put her in a state of anxiety, which made it harder for us to clean her properly.
Every business will cop slack, but its harder to deal with when its posted on the net for everyone to see. At Sheridans we are genuinely caring and loving towards animals. The work that i do for animal rescue places, the elderly and less fortunate will never be posted. Because people only here the bad stuff. At the end of the day its up to the individual to decide where to take their dog. But i can tell the public one thing, if anyone would like to come and spend time to see how we treat our dogs then your welcome to come and find out. We have nothing to hide. I only wish that people who read these bad reviews understand that there is always two sides, and it makes a dog groomers job hard when owners have to ‘assume' how their dogs experience was because their dog cant tell them.

We take our dog here every year to be shaved. They seem to come back a little tired, but it's probably the excitement of the day. The shave always looks fine, and we haven't compared prices but are happy enough with Sheridans.
