We actually went to the Schnithouse that has recently opened in HILTON, on Sir Donald Bradman Drive. Used a voucher for any breakfast item on the menu with a coffee or juice. Had the Eggs Bene and it was beautiful. My partner had the poached eggs with toast and they were cooked to perfection. Friendly service too. We will be going back next week :)

This was the perfect place to catch up with friends recently, huge serves, tasty food, perfectly cooked and attentive staff. Some of us just wanted a schnitzel and beer and that is what we had, enjoyed by all. If you are not one for a large meal then consider sharing because the portions are very generous and of course delicious.

great place to go with friends if you are a big eater.
great schnitzels.
not greasy
big serves
lots to choose from even vegetarian
not too noisy
had the Godra which was a melt in your mouth large chicken schnitzel topped with a gorgeous cransky best onion rings ever 3 prawns and the most gorgeous champagne sauce ever.
the chips are thick cut and non greasy as well
great balsamic based dressing for the salad which could have used another slice of cucumber and perhaps a little red or spring onion for extra zing
you cant hurry the eating of these meals. a friend of mine had the chicken stacked salad and couldnt finish it.
would love to try their ulitmate schnit which is a chicken schnitzel that covers the large plate with 2-3 large meatballs topped with cheese as a side dish
in a group of 6 people no 2 people had the same dish which is often the case and we all agreed definitely a place to return to.
downfall was one or two ingredients missing from salad and Norwoods lack of parking

Approximate cost: $30

This is a fabulous place to go with friends especially if you love a goood schnitzel, the servings are huge, the toppings generous and delicious. We have enjoyed both their schnitzels and breakfast here, never been disappointed. Our our latest visit here a friend tried the Man V Schnit Challenge, priced at $39, we thought it was good value, as it did entertain us. The challenge is - you are served a 1kg chicken schnitzel with chips and sauce, plus 1ltr of beer. Everything on your plate must be eaten and you must consume all your beer in 45mintues. Unfortunately, our friend failed at this, but we had a lot of fun watching him.

This place is like schnitzel heaven! There are soo many different toppings (with, depending on your maturity level, hilarious names) you can choose for whatever schnitzel base you desire. It was quite hard to choose. All of them come with delicious chips and a standard garden salad. Very big servings for a decent price (average $25). There are other things on the menu too.
I ordered the Reef and Schnit with a chicken schnitzel. The schnitzel was cooked to perfection however unfortunately the garlic gravey sauce was extremely salty for my liking I took most of it off. The other guests on my table also commented that their sauces we salty (we all ordered a different dish.
The atmosphere is standard pub.
Will be back to try the others I stuggled to choose between (unless they too are salty....).

This place doesn't just offer Schnitizels, just about anything is on the menu, such as pizza, steak, salads, burgers, wraps and hotdogs. There are so many different ways you can have a schnitzel here, it was quite difficult to make a decision. I had the Schnit Hot- it was topped with jalapenos, chillies and hot sauce and yes it was Very Hot, so be warned. It also came with chips and salad for about $23. My girlfriend had the Federer which is schnitzel topped with swiss cheese, avocado, tomatoes, spinach and mayo with a side serve of chips and salad. Everything was well presented and the servings were huge.

They are open breakfast, lunch and dinner. Heaps to choose from, will be returning for our next big outing with friends. Definitely recommend you try, especially if you love schnitzel.
