We ordered grilled fish and salad which comes with a drink as well. The fish was good but small and we had to go back to get the salad and drink which were not supplied when we picked up the order. The price of $12.90 was too much for what you get and should have included some chips. To top up I also ordered a small calamari for $5.90 and it was very good. The location is fantastic, but why there is no pedestrian crossing for this busy road is beyond me.

Scales Seafood is conveniently located. The fish, chips and salad was yummy. The service was great, excellent prices and good portion size. Will definitely be going back.

This business provides both fresh seafood and cooked and allows you to choose your own fresh seafood to be cooked by them. I had my 2 year old with me and needed some advice. Not only did the fishmonger give me advice, but he also helped me collect what I needed. Their seafood is super fresh.

Best fish and chips I have had in a long time! The seafood was all very fresh (you can buy it fresh there too) and was cooked to perfection. Portions were decent and the sauces were reasonably priced and a good addition to the meal. Great view of the river, but parking is difficult.

Great fish & chips, good variety of different fish to choose from. Opposite a big park, so you can take your luch & sit in the park overlooking the Tweed river. Great on a fine day.Is busy, as they have a reputaion of being the best in the area, so you may have to wait a while, but is worth it. Would definately recommend them.

This is the number 1 take way seafood place in the tweed area, always very busy but does not affect service, also have very FRESH seafood next door also. Very Yummy !

These guys do excellent fish and chips especially when they are not run off their feet. The shop is very busy in meal times on the weekends a testament to the great fish and chips they cook.

Everyone in Tweed Knows Scales seafood.. the only thing is don't go there if someone wants a burger....no burgers there... just fish fish and more fish...mind you the fish is top quality yummmmmy

The food here is quite nice and inexpensive and there is a large range of fresh seafood to choose from. In my opinion, the service was not that great but I would certainly come back here to eat.
