SATOOZ stands for "SA to OZ" - and we deliver lekker South African treats to people all around Australia and the world. SATOOZ specialise in importing South African food, groceries, spices, biltong spice, curios, gifts, toiletries and lots more. South Africans will find all of their old favourites here - ProNutro, Mrs Balls Chutney, Cross & Blackwell Mayonnaise, Aromat, Mealie Meal, Niknaks, Tennis Biscuits, Ghostpops, Zoo Biscuits, Zam-Buk, Jelly Tots and more! You'll also discover some fantastic new products from South Africa, full of flavour and character. SATOOZ is continually adding exciting new products to our already huge range - keep an eye out for special arrivals at Christmas and Easter time!

Founded in July 2001, SATOOZ trades exclusively on the internet and is the longest running South African online store in Australia. It is family owned and operated in the Hunter Valley (NSW) Australia. Angela Osborne founded SATOOZ because her family was missing SA treats so much after immigrating. SATOOZ is still a family-owned and operated business ran by Sarah Badenhorst. We are committed to continue giving you excellent customer service and finding the products that you really miss from SA, so please let us know if there is anything that we can do to help you.

What is South African Food?
With a wide range of multicultural influences, South African Cuisine is sometimes called "Rainbow Cuisine". Modern day South African Food is a vibrant mix of flavours, influenced by food from many of the different cultures found in Southern Africa, including: Indigenous African, Dutch, German, French, Italian, Greek, British, Indian, Asian and Portuguese. This unique melting pot of flavours has lead to a wide range of famous South African dishes that are full of flavour and character, including: biltong (salty dried meat), biryani (spicy rice), bobotie (meatloaf with egg custard), boerewors (spiral sausage), bunny chow (loaf of bread stuffed with curry), chakalaka (spicy vegetable relish), chutney (sweet fruit sauce), koeksisters (very sweet deep-fried pastries), melktert (milk tart), mealie bread (sweet corn bread), potjiekos (Afrikaans stew made in cast iron pot), rusks (hard dried biscuit), samosas (savoury Indian fried pastry), samp (chopped dried corn kernels), sosatie (grilled marinaded meat kebab), tomato bredie (lamb and tomato stew) and vetkoek (deep-fried dough balls).

Great easy experience, as always! I have been using this business for over 7 years now and have NEVER had anything except exceptional service. The deliveries are always fast (I live remote) and the packaging exceptional.

I love SATOOZ. Sometimes I just want a little 'something' from SA that there is no substitute for here in OZ - like a Bar One, or Beacon easter eggs. So easy to order, lots of choice and fast delivery.

Only business I know which has the items I want. Service is prompt and products always exactly what I ordered. They keep me up to date with progress of my order. I would totally recommend using this Company for the products they sell. The prices are reasonable also which is a great bonus.Excellent company to deal with.
